Nexton, Cane Bay, and Carnes Crossroads are the three highest-density communities in Pristine's primary service area. All three are on the same utility: Summerville CPW. Same source water, same chlorine disinfection, same approximate hardness at 1.4 grains per gallon.
Where they differ

The water story is the same
All three communities drink from the Lake Moultrie supply through Santee Cooper, treated by CPW with chlorine. Hardness is approximately about 1.4 gpg across all three. CPW has completed its lead service line inventory and found zero lead service lines.
The install story is similar
Most 2018 or newer builds in all three communities have garage-wall water main shutoffs. That means a clean 4-hour indoor install.
