The EPA limit for each is 4.0 parts per trillion, so both are above the federal limit. Utilities on this plant have until 2031 to comply and a $96 million upgrade is underway.

Cypress Preserve is a Lennar masterplan community off Cypress Gardens Road near Highway 52 in Moncks Corner, Berkeley County. Lennar sells three collections here with homes starting in the $300s, and amenities include a pool, playground and community centre. Single-builder communities like Cypress Preserve are the most predictable to install in, because the floorplans and the main line locations repeat.
Cypress Preserve sits near Lake Moultrie itself, which is the raw water source for the entire regional system. Proximity to the lake makes no difference to what reaches the tap, because the water is drawn, treated at the Santee Cooper plant and distributed under pressure regardless of where a house sits. The chloramine residual is what it is by design, and it is measured at the plant.
