Install Day with a Deployed Spouse, How a Solo-Parent Household Gets Water Right Without the Hassle

A 45-minute water test, a unit on the truck within 72 hours, and a 4-hour install. How install day works when one parent is deployed and you're running the house solo.

If your spouse is deployed and you're running the household solo, the last thing you need is a home-improvement project with a complicated timeline. Here's how a Pristine install works for single-parent households.

Before install day

I come out for a free water test. It takes 45 minutes. I test your tap on the counter while you watch and leave you a printout. If the numbers don't warrant a system, I'll say so.

If you decide to move forward, I'll have a unit on the truck within 72 hours. The consultation, the quote, and the paperwork are all handled between me and the at-home parent. I keep a clean paper trail for households where both spouses need documentation.

The 4-hour install

I arrive in the morning with my SC-licensed partner plumber. He handles the cut-in at your water main at the garage shutoff, and I set and commission the system. Four hours, no mess. The 3-day right to cancel under 16 CFR 429 applies to every in-home sale over $25. That's your protection by law, not a favor.

Post-install retest

I come back in 2 to 4 weeks to retest. If your spouse returns from deployment in the meantime, I'm happy to walk them through the system and the numbers.
